It was a great time when we lived next door to the Love family when Jacquie was a young girl. We will pray for her during our Eucharist service this morning.

I was sorry to hear of Jacquie's passing.  The few of us who remain from the SHAIR International Resource Centre in the 70's and 80's remember well the meetings at the home n Westdale and the energy and commitment brought to our work for international development in schools and elsewhere.
Sorry to be slow and just catching up or would have tried to make it to the visitation.
While we have fallen out of touch since those times, I still wish David and family all the best.  From the look of the photos, Jacquie continued to have a happy and fulfilling life

David and family, we were so saddened to hear of Jacquie’s passing. She was a wonderful friend and pal as well as a great neighbour. We will miss her dearly.

Dearest Jacquie,
We were friends for 23 years.  We shared so many wonderful memories. The cottage days, dinner parties, lunch at the Bean Bar and card games will remain as fond fun memories. 
You touched so many people in an individual way and that was very evident in the number of people who came to pay their respects yesterday.

When our boys (Nathan and Andrew) were 9 years old , Jackie and I took them to Canada’s Wonderland..After a fun filled day, returning home, Nathan said he was going to be sick.. we pulled off at the next exit.. throwing the doors for Nathan..
We all got out of the car and Andrew started to do his Tyrannosaurus  Rex rendition, which gave us all a much needed laugh..
I will always remember that day..

Well it is always difficult to say goodbye to a family member but sometimes we have to and this is one such an occasion.

I will always  remember Jackie, my cousin, as a friendly, loving, supporting person.

I will always remember our youth, our parents and the love that surrounded us all. Jackie’s mom cooking the meal to always remember and Aunt Shirley saying come on just one more helping. 

After I met my wife Nancy now of more than 48 years together she was adopted by the Love family and later on David as a special person, and they all stated,  welcome to the family.

These are the memories I will cherish forever.

Dear Jacquie,
The words are not coming to me as eloquently as they would for you if the shoes were on anothers’ feet.  That’s just it.  Even though you would often say you couldn’t imagine you actually did.  You were there for so many first and foremost a daughter any mother would be proud to name, a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, educator and dear friend.  As you expected your students to be positive, pleasant and productive you lead by example.  Mostly always having a positive spin on any circumstance including your own.  No matter what the weather you wore your bright disposition and kept us all together remembering that life was precious...each and every moment.  “If not now...when?”  Truly you brought love, life and laughter to us all and I will forever be grateful God graced me with you in my life.

I am sad and very surprised to hear about Jacquie’s death. I will always remember her friendliness, thoughtfulness and courage. I will miss her at the pool where she regularly engaged in lively conversations with us. It was always fun to discuss politics, restaurants, family life, work life and of course things that made us ask, “But why”?

I am truly sorry for your loss, David. She was very devoted to you and you sons and their families. She spoke about you all with much love and tenderness.  She felt very blessed to have shared her life with you.  

Jacquie and I were friends for 50 years.  We met at Norwood Park School when Jacquie began to teach and I was her mentor.  She was an excellent teacher. Over the years we had lunch together a couple of times a year and she would bring me up to date on her children and grandchildren and share with me the many trips she and David had taken together.  She loved her family!  She was always enthusiastic and cheerful. My condolences to David and the rest of the family at this sad time in the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and  dear friend.  

Memories of a lifetime too many to list! A beloved cousin (little sister), godmother to my oldest daughter and much loved by all three! Will miss you forever dearest cuz!

I'm so shocked and saddened to hear of Jacquie's death.  Despite her physical struggles, her mind and spirit were so strong and sharp it was hard to remember that her body challenged her so.  

We met in the pool - which led to sharing many opinions (including political and religious!), recipes, lunch recommendations, travel and family stories.... and oh, yes, exercise, too!  Our" Dancing With the Stars" nights were an extension of fun and comraderie.  

She was so, so proud of her family.  My condolences to you, David, and all your family as you celebrate her life and mourn her death...

She sure will be remembered so fondly by so many!

Jacquie was a gift to teaching.  Her wise words have always stayed  in my mind throughout my years.  I had the privilege of working with her at the beginning of my career and she was my mentor and friend.  We shared so many great times at the cottage and going for “milk” on Fridays.  She will deeply missed and never forgotten.  My deepest sympathies to David and her family.  

Both Hal and I taught with Jacquie at Hampton Heights.  She was a pleasure as a colleague and as a friend.  I admired her determination and grace.  We are thinking of the family at this terrible time.

Missing my friend dearly. You will always be remembered fondly by all.  

In any function we all know that Jacquie made a point of positioning herself in the best optimal seat at any table. At times as a group we chuckled about it. But as we take note this was her way to make sure we were in all her conversations. She was interested in everything and everyone. So before her service on Monday look into the center aisle as that is where our Jacquie is sitting. Family and Friends on both sides supporting her where she can hear everyone.

It was no accident that Jacquie's maiden name was "Love".  You couldn't help but love this incredible woman who taught me, us, so much through her wisdom and experience.  She touched so many lives; students, educators, friends...everyone she met.  It was a privilege being her colleague and friend.  Jacquie has left her mark in this world with her wit, charm, intellect, hilarious anecdotes, kindness and style. Truly, an unforgettable angel. 
I am heartbroken by this loss, as are  so many of us and I extend my thoughts and prayers to her husband, David, and her family, whom she spoke of often with pride and joy.

I had the opportunity to meet Jackie when I first became a supply EA at George L. Armstrong Elementary School. She was an amazing Learning Resource Teacher. I didn't have the opportunity to let her know that I got hired in 2001 and have retired in 2018. Thank you Jackie for your encouragement during my time as an supply EA.
