The LORD took home James Porter on Friday December 6th 2013 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of Ruth (nee Jones) for 59 years. Loving father of the late Douglas (and the late Shaaron), Susanne (the late Pieter) and Don (Karen). Will be missed by his 7 grandchildren James (Stephanie), Charles (Stephanie), Donald, James (Bethany), Jennifer, Jane (Dylan), Rebecca and 9 great grandchildren, as well as his family Dorothy, Ruby, Ted and Judy. Vistitation will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME “FENNELL CHAPEL”, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at West 5th Bible Chapel (445 West 5th Street) on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Mt. Hamilton Cemetery.
