James Sackville

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of James "Jim" Sackville on May 22, 2013 at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Dorothy. Sadly missed by his sister Tanis Service (Jerry) of California, brother Lyall Rombough (Carol) and family of P.E.I., cousin Ruth Prowse of St. Thomas, Ontario and godson Todd Beaudoin (Carol) and family as well as several neices and nephews. Longtime friend of Ruth Cowman. James served with pride and distinction at Truscott Bros, Dwyer and Swackhamer Funeral Homes of Hamilton with over 30 years of service. Generously he gave by serving on various boards of directors and in other capacities enriching his community with his time and talent. James' family will receive friends at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL 1309 King Street East (at the Delta, opposite Gage Park) 905-549-2417 on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Jim's life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. In memory of Jim, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated.
