Peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Henderson General Hospital on Friday June 18, 2010 at the age of 83. Beloved father of Glen and the late Brian Short. Grandfather of Cheryl Piji and several great grandchildren. Long time companion of Dorothy Cotton. Brother of Gwen Stewart and Ken Short. Predeceased by his wife Bessie, sisters Dorothy and Lillian and by brother Harold. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Jim was a member of Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #163.
