Surrounded by family on July 16, 2010 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Anthony (September 6, 1975). Loving mother of David Blackmore (Leah), and Cynthia Blackmore-Bishop (Ernest). Cherished grandma of Samantha, Sydney, Cyanna, Cheyenne, Tasha Vegas, and Britteny. Survived by sister Olga Sosnowich, brother Mike Melesko and sister-in-law Rosie Melesko (Peter). Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a shrewd businesswoman who could turn a penny into a dollar. She touched the lives of all around her with her laughter, her wit and her generosity. Her focus in life was her children and grandchildren and this was her biggest source of pride and joy.
