Joan Walsh

In loving memory of our adored Mom, and Nana. Joan passed peacefully on Monday, October 24th in her 90th year. Missed but never forgotten by her children Russ Walsh (Patti) and Suzanne Wajmer (Walt). Cherished Nana to Nicole and Alex Wajmer. Predeceased in the last year by both her daughter Kathy and son-in-law Bill Faulkner. Joan was a devoted mother, nana and friend. She worked in customer service for the Upper James Canadian Tire for over 25 years. She will be remembered for her love of playing bridge, euchre and bowling and her passion for animals. Joan was a devoted fan of the Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Tiger Cats. She was the proudest and biggest fan of Nicole and Alex; as they were the center of her life. Joan will be remembered for her kind, nurturing and giving nature. The warmth, love, smiles and hugs of this wonderful women will be greatly missed. Deepest thanks for the loving and compassionate care she received at the Village of Wentworth Heights; not just during this difficult time; but over the last 2 years; it was truly home. Thank you. Visitation will be held at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Saturday from 9am until time of service at 10am in the chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Hamilton Cemetery.
