Peacefully at his home surrounded by his family, on February 11, 2017 at the age of 69. Predeceased by his parents Adelard and Lucy. Loving father of Lynn, Lisa (Rob) Cull and Jason (Cassandra) Derasp. Beloved Papa of Melissa, Dylan, Bailey and great-papa of Cole. Dear brother of Andrew (Wendy), Pat (Frank), Debbie (Mike) and Tony. Will be missed by his aunt Helen (Julie), uncle Lionel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Many thanks to his AA family, Stoney Creek Group, for all their love and support. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, February 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. A celebration of John's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
