It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John on July 6, 2015 at the age of 58. Beloved husband and best friend of Jackie for 37 years. Loving and devoted father of Shawna and Megan. Dear brother of Lynn (Kathy) and Chuck (Mary). Special uncle of Trish, Jennifer, Jason, Lindsay, Kristen and Justin. John will be remembered as a great friend to many. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday, July 10 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 10 a.m.- 11 a.m. Memorial Service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice.
