He is survived by his younger brother, Fred (Mari.) John was the much loved father of Jack (Cindy), Karen Duncan (Bill), and Brian (Shelley). Adored grandfather to David (Karli), Tracey (Alec), Mitchell (Nicole), Julee (Michael), Robert, Jennifer (Sean), Sarah (Erik), and Emma (Tim). He was great-grandfather to Raven, Isla, Nash, and Brixton, who was born just a few short hours before John passed. Special thanks to the staff of Idlewyld Manor Spruce View Wing, particularly Patricia and Daniella, for the kind and compassionate care they provided to Dad. John retired as a constable in 1986 after a proud 30 year career with the Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Police. In keeping with John's wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow. John's was a life well lived and as he would often say when lauding someone's accomplishments, "Good show!"
