It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother John Madjeruh on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at Toronto General Hospital at the age of 66 surrounded by his family. He quietly and courageously battled cancer for over 4 1/2 years. He was a private man, often keeping his struggles to himself so as not to worry others. John was a truly selfless individual, always willing to lend a hand, putting the needs of loved ones before his own.
Predeceased by his parents Josip and Zorica Madjeruh, John was a devoted partner to Debbie Desharnais and beloved brother of Branko (Marta), Joe (Annette) and Evana Agostini. John will be lovingly remembered by his niece Natasha A. and nephew Nickolas S.
John was an electrician and proud member of the local IBEW 105, acting as a welding instructor for several years before retirement.
His happiest moments were spent with his niece Natasha or with his friends on the golf course. As he would say, "It never rains on the golf course".
He taught us strength, resilience, loyalty and unconditional love. John will be remembered for his sharp wit and his great sense of humour. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We will honour and cherish our memories of him. Rest in Peace until we are reunited once again.
