After many strong courageous battles we announce John's passing to be with the Lord in victory on September 3, 2011 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his wife Marjorie and daughter Trudy. Cherished father to Richard and his wife Patt and Susan and her husband Paul. Loving grandpa to John, Jere, Angela, Sarah, Ben, Catherine and Stephanie. Great grandpa to Seth James Benjamin. Survived by his sister Regina Binder. Dearly missed by his extended family and many friends. John was a member of the Lutheran Church which meant a great deal to him. Visitation was held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Monday, September 5, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held today Tuesday, September 6, 2011 in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. In memory of John please make donations to the Hamilton Halton Alzheimer Foundation.
