Beloved son of Brandy and Hadley Forde, devoted father to his cherished daughter Clementine (Rosie) List, treasured brother to Aleshia Johnson and Jeremy Greene, and husband to Sidrah (Skylar) Farooq. Jordan was predeceased by his beloved maternal grandparents Elgin and Penny Powless, as well as his loving paternal grandmother Loreen Forde-Armstrong, and great-grandmother Alda Forde. Jordan will be tremendously missed by many friends and extended family, especially his Aunt Faith and Uncle Al Pizics, Aunt Lucy Griffith, Uncle Dalton Forde, cousins DaleAnn and Abby Griffith, Chantel and Skyler Johnson, Josh (Alyssa) and Christopher (Sarah) Fitzpatrick, as well as his very good friend Tracy Miller. He will also be deeply missed by his dogs Tinkerbell, Bella, and Levi.
Born on September 27, 1990, Jordan grew up in Hamilton and Dundas, Ontario and attended Highland Secondary School where he excelled in mathematics and computer science. He later pursued an education in Computer Systems Technology at Mohawk College, cultivating the intellectual curiosity and tech-savviness that defined so much of his life. Hardworking and friendly, Jordan later worked for ten years at Grand River Enterprises as an operator where he will be missed by many friends and colleagues.
Those who knew Jordan will always remember his effortless humour. He had a gift for weaving in perfectly timed Simpsons and Family Guy references and could make anyone chuckle with his sharp wit and playful personality. His laughter was warm, familiar, and a sound we will always hear in our hearts with fondness. Music was another of his joys, especially Motown, Classic Rock, K-Os, Jacksoul and Bob Marley.
A tech enthusiast at heart, Jordan loved, gaming, building computers, and researching the latest tech trends. He was also a prolific reader of books and explored everything from manga to philosophical and psychological literature. Jordan believed deeply in justice, personal growth and self-improvement (an INFP). His ardent desire to learn and understand himself, others, and the world better will be remembered as one of his defining traits. He had a tender spirit, empathetic heart, and quiet confidence that touched those around him. Above all, Jordan was a devoted and loving father to his adored daughter Clementine, who brought immense joy, meaning and purpose to his life. Jordan was the best Girl Dad.
A celebration of Jordan’s life will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Waterfront Centre, 555 Bay Street North in Hamilton. Light refreshments will be provided. We invite all who knew Jordan to join us in remembering and honouring him and the love, humour, and joy he brought into our lives. In lieu of flowers, donations to the GoFundMe created in support of Clementine would be greatly appreciated.
