On March 24, 2015 God called Josip home in his 74th year. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Ruzica as well as his children Marija (Gustavo), Antun, Ivan (Tracy), Josip jr. (Susan), and Susy. Proud Deda of Maya, Caitlin, Rowan, Jane, Madeleine and baby Eliza. Will be remembered by sister Marica and family and many relatives and friends in Canada and Croatia. Family and friends will be received at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday March 27, 2015 from 4-8 p.m., prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 28, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street East with interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Mud Street East, Stoney Creek.
