Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Chesley for 60 years. Loving mother of Greg Green (Maydon) and Sharon Fast (Douglas). Cherished granny of Andrew, Sarah, Greg, Chris, Lindsey and Renata. Dear sister of Jack Palmer (Una) of Amherst, NS. Joyce will be sadly missed by family in Newfoundland and by her nieces and nephews. She will also be sorely missed by all her good friends. Special thanks to the Juravinski Hospital for their exceptional care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 6-9 pm and will continue at Pioneer Memorial United Church, 1974 King Street East, on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 10 am until the time of Funeral Service at 11am. Reception to follow. Family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pioneer Memorial United Church.
