Miss Julie Ann Skingley

February 10, 1969- May 9, 2025

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Julie, after a long fought battle with cancer. She passed away on May 9, 2025 at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice surrounded by her loving husband and children.

Julie was the loving and dedicated wife of Mario Giordano, with whom she shared 35 wonderful years. She will be deeply missed by her children Sarina and Nicholas and by her precious grandchildren Camryn and Easton. She is survived by her parents Rockne and Shirley Skingley and her brother Bradley Skingley (Susan). Julie will be remembered by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Our family would like to acknowledge the dedication and constant support given from Joe and Mary Giordano, we couldn’t have gotten through these tough times without you. We also wish to thank the staff at Juravinski Hospital for their care over the last several years, as well as the incredible staff at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for the genuine compassion and empathy towards not only Julie but our family as well.

Cremation has taken place. A time of Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street E., Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be greatly appreciated by her family.
