June Somerville

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of June Mohler Somerville on Sunday February 22, 2009 at the Brant Centre, Burlington. Predeceased by her husband John Mitchell Somerville. Sadly missed by her children Ron Robinson, June Manning, Virginia Somerville and Jackie Moors. She will also be missed by her nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. June attended Wheaton College in Wheaton III. Where she received her Bachelor’s Degrees in science and music. She received her Teacher’s Certificate at Hamilton Teacher’s College and taught at Princess Elizabeth School. Her love for music had her involved in the Ryerson United Church Choir, bell choirs at Ryerson United Church and Princess Elizabeth School. She rang the Carillon Towers at Niagara Falls and Simcoe. Friends will be received at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford) on Thursday February 26, 2009 from 11-1 p.m. with a reception.
