June Stonehouse

Beloved wife of Harold Stonehouse (deceased). Loving mother of Leslie Plaisance (Robert), Dianne Blackman (Brian) and Drew Stonehouse. Cherished grandmother of Lindsay Blackman (Hayden), Ian Blackman (deceased), Parker Stonehouse (Emily) and Remi Mulroy (Dan) and great-grandmother of Benjamin Krawec, Banks Mulroy and Isla Stonehouse. Predeceased by Marjorie Campbell (mother), Verner Campbell (father) and Joy Smith (sister).

Big June to her family and Gramma June to those who knew her throughout the Ontario Highland Dancing community, Chedoke Hockey and all of the other activities she enjoyed watching her grand kids play. Junie was our rock. She handled diversity with grace and humour. She was a giving and caring individual who would give you everything and expect nothing in return. Junie was special and those who knew her were better for having her in their lives. Her generous legacy and influence lives on through her children, her grand-children and her grand-babies, who were the apples of Junie’s (GG’s) eye. Special thanks to the General Hospital Emergency team, the Juravinski Orthopedic Surgery team and cousin Trish who stepped up in a big way.

So thank-you Big June. Hoping that Harold, Ian, Joy, Irene and Marjorie and Verner have greeted you with open arms, a fresh deck of cards and a cold beer. Cremation has taken place.
