Born in Lithuania March 14, 1919. In his 95th year, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, September 26, 2013. Predeceased in Canada by his parents Pranas and Ona Patlabaite, eight siblings, and a long line of first cousins in Lithuania. He is the last of a generation. Leaving behind Elena, his loving wife of 64 years, sons Juozas, Marijus (Felicija), Antanas, grandsons Lukas, Domas, Vincas, Ned, godson Kestutis, and sister-in-laws Ema and Laima. Special thanks to Julite for the love and personal touch that she brought to his home care. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), Hamilton, on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8:30 p.m. Rosary at the funeral home at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Lithuanian Church, 58 Dundurn St. N., Hamilton, on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga.
