Kelsey Michelle Jones-O'Melia

Born November 9, 1994, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 14, 2022. Kelsey leaves behind her parents, Michelle Jones-Orum (Ken) and Brian O’Melia (Kristen), her siblings, Andrew, Aiden, Terra and Emmie, her grandparents, Wendy and Dave Jones and Lois O’Melia, many aunts, uncles and cousins, both past and present, along with a large and loyal group of friends. It is important to the people who loved her most that she is remembered as the loving, friendly, kind, generous, funny and beautiful soul she was. Kelsey had a real appreciation for nature, hiking, gathering with friends, travelling, sunglasses and her family.

Kelsey left us suddenly and we are all in shock and disbelief at this time. We are comforted with the memories of her infectious giggle and sweet smile. We will miss her deeply but she will always be in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, please follow Kelsey’s lead and pay it forward with kindness and love to family, friends and strangers. Kelsey loved her sunglasses, She wore them everywhere. So we ask that everyone wear your sunglasses to the ceremony in honour of her. There will be a reception to follow, details determined shortly

A funeral service for Kelsey will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue E. Hamilton, ON L9A 1T2
