Peacefully, surrounded by family on Monday, February 6, 2012 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of Joyce for 59 years. Loving father of Keirn (Cindi), Lorraine and Sherri-Ann Muse (Stephen). Cherished grandfather of Grant (Rebecca), Corey (Jessica), Kieran, Ethan and great-grandfather of Calum. Survived by his sister Mary Heenan, predeceased by sister Margaret Heenan and brothers Joseph and William. Will be remembered by extended family and friends in Canada and Scotland. Sonny was the owner of Aberdeen cleaning and longstanding member of many clubs, including, the 58 Legion, RHLI, VSL and Stoney Creek Seniors. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 11 am. If desired, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
