Krystyna Kurpan passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the age of 69. Born and raised in Poland, Krystyna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love and strength were felt by all who knew her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wladyslaw Kurpan, who passed away in 2009. Krystyna is survived by her three children, Bartlomiej, Kamila, and Victor, as well as her adored grandchildren, Maya, Jacob, and Owen Kurpan.
Krystyna had a passion for crosswords, a hobby she enjoyed throughout her life. Her sharp mind, loving heart, and dedication to her family were hallmarks of her character. She will be remembered for her quiet wisdom, her nurturing presence, and her deep love for those closest to her.
The family will receive friends at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), Hamilton, on Tuesday, September 10th from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Rosary to be held Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
