Husband of the late Iva Lauretta Warner. Son of the late James and Olivia Warner. Father of Annette Weekes (Trenton), (Ruth) Fiona Devonish (Michael), Allan Warner (Maria) and the late Ian Warner. Grandfather of Marie and Michael Warner, Philip and Alana Weekes, Micaela and Mitchell Devonish. Brother of Joan Warner.

Predeceased by Iva Parris, Inell Burke, Alma Gittens, Mary Griffith, Grafton, Eris, Elise (Doris), Hart, Cameron and Mitchell Warner. Brother-in-law of the Rev. Leon Burke. Uncle of Veronica Warner-Taylor, Janet Brathwaite, Pauline Maynard, Angela and Tony Parris, Betty, Trevor, Selwyn, and Angus Warner, Stephanie Gooding, Mark, Richard and Rosalind Burke and many others. Relative of the Warner, Jones and Burnett families.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17,2026 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton. A Celebration of Life for Leon Sylvester will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at St. Michael's Anglican Church, 1188 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 11:00 am for the service.
