Linda Castelli

Surrounded by family, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at the age of 68. Loving wife of Emidio for 49 years. Cherished mother of Mark and Dean. Linda will be dearly missed by her granddaughter Alexis and her mother Tammy. Beloved sister of Ann Flammini (Gino), Romeo Taraschi (Michelina) and sister-in-law of Maria Vasiloff (Mike), Aldo Castelli (Joanne) and Fabrizio Castelli (Antoinette). Predeceased by parents Michele and Emilia Taraschi and father-in-law Corrado Castelli. Survived by mother-in-law Natalina Castelli and her many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Italy. Special thank-you is extended to the staff at Emmanuel House, Dr. Tozer, the nurses at Juravinski Hospital and Father Charlie Galea for their compassion and care. Family and friends are welcome to Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, for visitation on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Vigil prayers at 3:30p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Church (Barton at Nash) on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
