Ljuba Boros

August 2, 1932 to January 15, 2026

It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Ljuba Boros at the age of 93. Surrounded by love, Ljuba departed peacefully on January 15, 2026 at the hospital. Ljuba lived a full life of warmth, kindness, and devotion to family. Ljuba was predeceased by her husband Jozo and son Vinko. She will be forever missed by her children Bosiljko (Jackie), Marica Kutlesa (Zeljko), Janko (Ankica), Ilija (Zeljka), Jadranka Clarkson (Terry). She was loved by many of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and will forever be missed by them. She will also be missed by many family and friends from Bosna, Croatia and Canada.

Visitation will be held at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street E., Hamilton, on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Vigil prayers will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street E., Hamilton, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 11:30 am. Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery, 681 Mud Street E., Stoney Creek.
