Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her parents John and Rose Purser of Cobourg and her brother Rev. John Purser of Toronto. Dear aunt to several nieces and a nephew; Barbara, Donald, Catherine (Paul), Sandra, and great-aunt to Matthew, Christopher, Zachary, Mikael, Rebecca, Angela, Nicole, and Shekinah, all of whom held a piece of her heart. Dear friend of Shirley Anne Lee and Trudy Hall. Loretta was active in her community as a past matron of the Rosedale Chapter of the O.E.S., a past worthy High Priestess of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, a past warden of Grace Anglican Church, a long-time driver for Meals-on-Wheels for the V.O.N., and member of the Roxborough Seniors Centre and Wednesday Rosslyn Prayer Group. She was also an avid fan of the Hamilton Tiger Cats. A Funeral Service will be held at the Anglican Church of the Nativity, 1831 King Street East, Hamilton on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Cobourg will take place on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 12 noon.
