A confident, feisty and unforgettable woman - elegant, sophisticated and effortlessly stylish.  She was truly 'one of a kind,' combining wisdom with warmth, generosity with grace and a cheeky spark that meant you didn’t mess with her.  I’ll never forget her kindness to me, or the memory of her taking me to Edgars to pick out any outfit I wanted.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and strength. May her beautiful soul rest in peace, reunited at last with beloved Uncle Charles, her husband and soulmate.

I never forgot that & it always fills a happy smile on my face remembering & sharing this lovely memory of you & of how you welcomed me at your home in Harare when I visited my good friend, your son Charles jr. My dearest loving, caring, kind, feisty, cheeky, straight forward , no nonsense, generous and very smart mother, I miss you so so much my heart is so broken💔. I’m so glad we got to laugh and love each other all the times we spoke and just hearing “hi my babe”, “love you my baby girl”, “bye babe”….ah no more now 😭. Thank you for being the great mother and woman you were to all of us. The privileges and  amazing life we had, we are  truly blessed. Dear Family,

We would like to share our deepest condolences on the passing of our Aunt. Even though we did not know her as closely as we wished, we remember her as a kind and loving person. I still carry memories of visiting Granny’s flat with her, late Uncle Charlie, and Jordan — sitting together for warm meals, and at times watching Granny sew in her bedroom.

What stands out most to me is playing with Jordan in his Power Rangers suit and the fun we had downstairs as kids. Those are the little things that stay in my heart, along with the way her smile could light up a room.

She will always be remembered with love, and we are keeping you all in our prayers during this time of loss.

Our hearts are broken at the passing of our dearest Aunt Lallie. It feels so unreal losing her just 10 weeks and 2 days after Dad. The two of them were only a year apart, and now they are together again.

To Terry-Anne, Wayne, Arlene, Junior, Char, and all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren—we are holding you close in our hearts. We know how much she loved you all, and how much you loved her. I am so thankful for the love and care you gave me as a child 🫶🏽. You would always take me out of boarding school and make sure I returned with all the amazing foods you cooked just for me. I promised I would be back to visit you this year, and I’m so heartbroken that I missed you the times I came to Canada.

I will always cherish our calls and your greetings—“Hey Doll” or “Hey my babes.” I only wish I could have done more for you. Our beloved Matriarch of the Zerf clan has gone to join the others.
