Margarite "Margo" Mary Wotta

Surrounded by the love and prayers of her beloved family, Margarite (Margo) Wotta is now in the presence of her Heavenly Father and has been reunited forever in heaven with her precious husband George (d. 1989). Her peaceful passing took place at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke on Friday June 1, 2012. Margo was the loving mother of Cathey Tweedle, John, Mary Bonter (Kevin Myles) and Rose Allain (Joey). Cherished Grandma of Mindy, David (Amanda), Katy, Kurtis, Stephen (Ashley), Daniel & Deanna. First-time Great-Gramma to Megan Elizabeth. Fondly remembered by son-in-law Ron Tweedle. Margo is survived by her siblings Mary Oliphant (Keith) and Michael (Karen). Margo was predeceased by her brothers Tom (Joyce) and Patrick (Mona).

Passionate about all that she did, Margo touched the hearts of many people through her devotion as a Foster Parent to over 500 children; providing palliative care to the dying; volunteering with the CWL’s of several churches; and as Executive Director of Friends In Grief. This passion has clearly been passed on through the generations as her children and grandchildren continue her legacy of service to others.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 440 King Street East on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow.
