Maria Iampietro

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a kind, gentle woman, Maria Iampietro, in her 93rd year. Reunited with her devoted husband Pellegrino (2004). They shared many years of marriage, love and happiness. She will always be loved by her children Michael (deceased) and Carmina, Nancy and Vince Antonucci, Leonard and Theresa, as well as her sister Filomena Marucci in Italy. Her grandchildren, Michael and Gina, Lisa and Marco Barzetti, Danielle and Vince Leone, Jennifer and John Grubich, Alisha and Mike Gander, Michael and Jennifer, Katie, Melissa and Bill Adams, and Patrick and Tara Murphy, as well as her great-grandchildren, Julia and Vincent, Stephanie and Aliya, Kyle and Heidi, Chiara and Thomas, Lincoln and Aria, Liam, Chelsey, Audrey, and baby angel Marie will always have a special place in their hearts for Nonnina. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews in Italy. A very special thank you to her dear friend, Gabriella Barzetti for her love and support, Agata Adamiec for her gentle compassion and care, and to Father Dan Hinsperger for comforting Maria in her lasts moments with us. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers on Sunday at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St Luke’s Catholic Church, 200 Mt Albion Rd, on Monday March 9, 2015 at 10am. Entombment in Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow .In Maria’s memory, donations to St. Luke’s Parish would be appreciated.
