Maria Zora Malisa

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Joseph's Hospital on February 8, 2012 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Dan. Loving mother of Zack and Diana, Reno and Patti. Cherished Nona of Geoffrey and Marcus. Dear sister of Dusan, Dinko, Vera and the late Zvane, all of Europe. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and their families and by her many friends. Maria was a retired dedicated employee of McMaster University with 25 years of service. Special thanks to the staff of Idlewyld Manor, Hamilton General Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital for her care throughout the last year. Visitation will be held at Cresmount Upper James, (1020 Upper James St., Hamilton 905-575-1154) on Sunday at 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers at 2:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church (416 Mohawk Road East) on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
