Maria Antonina Zwarycz

She was astoundingly strong, beating one cancer last year although given virtually no chance. A second cancer had unfortunately developed and due to misdiagnosis went undiscovered until Mother's Day. She was immediately ready to fight it but doctors were unwilling to try. Disheartened we took her home where she lived with us happily until the end. She passed peacefully from complications unrelated to the cancer. Beloved mother of Paul and Christina Zwarycz (David). Dear sister of Agata Pretorius (Leszek) and Lidia Nowicka. Sadly her own mother Anna Kubica suddenly passed a mere 12 days prior. Maria will be missed by her family in Canada and in Poland. Her family will receive friends at the Truscott, Brown & Dwyer Funeral Chapel, 1309 King St. E. (opposite Gage Park, at the Delta) on Friday, August 16th from 6-8 pm.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.
