Dear Bob, Terry, Randy and families: Ron Charters mother-in-law, Ellen, told me about your Mom's passing - My prayers and sympathies are with you all. 
I have very fond memories of your Mom, Dad, Ron, Grandma and Grandpa Charters - My Dad was the minister in Tillsonburg from 1949-1956 and the Charters were all dear friends of ours - in fact, your Mom used to babysit me and my brother - I always wanted to see your Mom again - but that didn't happen. 
My parents, Paul and I used to spend a lot of time at the Charters  - when they lived upstairs from Charters Refrigeration -

My heart is with you and your families.  Your mother always treated me like one of your family when growing up.  She always had a way of making you feel cared for and loved.  I have wonderful memories of all of us growing up and consider you all my brothers.

Marian was a great woman whom impressed me in my teen years with her laughter and fun approach to life.  Our deepest condolences to you, Terry & Janine, Bob & Kathy and Randy.  Time passes by quickly!  It seems like not that long ago when we were teenagers running the streets of Hamilton mountain.  Great memories!  Marian and Roy are in some of those fond memories for me.  They were special people.

Mrs Charters will definitely be missed by all. Although it has been some time since I have last seen her. I still to this day cannot pull a weed out of my lawn without thinking back to that day(s) I spent removing the weeds from her front yard.

We sure had some great times with you folks & Marian  &  of course there were some tense times too that we all shared during some of the strikes etc.  We remember her fondly ... again, very sorry to hear about her death.
