She is survived by her children Don Dungey (Linda), Kathy Savage (Joe), Melanie Engebretsen (Doug), Mark Dungey (Liz). Mary was the very proud Grandmother to four grandchildren, Michael (Zoe), Nicole, Laura (Dave) and Robert (Miranda) and her four great-grandchildren Riley, Quinn, Joel and Ellie. She is also survived by her partner, Ron Thorne. She will be fondly remembered by her brother John Pountney (Susan) and extended family Brad and his children, Olivia, Harrison & Adele and Christine (Bo) and their son Adam. Mary was a retired teacher from the Hamilton School Board where she devoted many years of service.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a family memorial at a later date.
