Mary Lee Hill

Loving mother of Kevin Nelson (Amy Nelson), Tracy Nelson, and Julie Ford (Sid Ford) and proud grandmother of Tinisha Nelson, Lyman Nelson and Kaitlyn Nelson. She will also be lovingly remembered by her brothers Jack Hill (Bridget Hill) and Brian Hill, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is reunited with her parents Murray and Julia Hill and her brother Keith Hill (Doreen Hill).

Mary Lee was born and raised in Hamilton and lived in Burlington during her later years. She went back to school in her adult years to obtain her high school diploma although it wasn't required for the various jobs she held over her career. It was something she always wanted to say she achieved/obtained. She worked in various offices in an administrative capacity in her early years but finished her career as a PSW in her community.

She enjoyed playing cards around the family table and spending family time at various cottages in the summer months. She also enjoyed sewing and would take on small furniture restoration projects. She was involved with the adult literacy program and provided tutoring assistance.

In accordance with her wishes, a graveside service will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 254 Garner Road West, Ancaster, Ontario on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers a donation to a mental health organization of your choice would be appreciated - As our mother knew the importance of taking care of a person’s own mental health.
