Mary Christine Marcogliese

Beloved wife of the late Frank Marcogliese for over 60 years. Loving mother of Anthony (Ginny Megin) Stephen (Carol), Claudia (Frank Accomando) and Mario (Sherri). Cherished grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother (Nonna and Bisnonna) of 9. Loved and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Mary was the last surviving sibling of the 7 children born to Stefano and Domenica Evangelisto. Mary was our family's matriarch, known for her great sense of humour, wonderful cooking, enjoyment of gardening and her love for her family. She danced to the beat of her own drum, always ready to learn something new. She will be missed by many.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Meadowlands Retirement Community, Dr. Alton and staff at St. Joseph's Hospital (Complex Care Unit). Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave. E., Hamilton, 905-387-2111). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 11:00 am at Cresmount Funeral Home chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington.
