Matilda Bukovac

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Matilda on Monday September 27, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton. Beloved wife of the late John (2002). Loving and devoted mother of son john, daughter Mary and her husband Mark Kovacic. Cherished "Baba" to her granddaughter Christina. Predeceased by her parents Blaz and Marija Jurkovic and baby brother Mile. Sister of Ane Adzija and her late husband Marko, Mande Oreskovic and her husband Pajo, Stjepan Jurkovic and his wife Lucija. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, their families, other family members, friends and neighbours for many years. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, CCAC, VON Nurses and personal support workers who provided Matilda with wonderful care over the past several years. Family and friends may visit at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Prayer Service Thursday at 8:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church on Friday October 1, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
