Mavis G. Jacobs

  Peacefully on May 30, 2013 at Idlewyld Manor in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Terence (2006). Loving mother of Ellen Hank (Dennis), James (Denise), Terry (Ruth) and Ivor (Susanne). Cherished grandmother of Melissa (Vili), Donovan, Nolan (Kaci), Adrien (Jessica), Jonathan, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Alex and Nick.  Loving great-grandmother of Ava and Adrien Jr.  Dear sister of Edgar (Sandra), Billy (Doreen) and Angelo (Ann). She is predeceased by her sisters, Rhona and Lorraine. Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Her family wishes to thank Dr. Noad and the staff of Idlewyld Manor for their extraordinary dedication, care and compassion. Her family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Thursday, June 6th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Hamilton Mountain Seventh-day Adventist Church, 284 Concession St. on Friday June 7th, 2013 at 2 p.m. followed by interment in Mt. Hamilton Cemetery on Rymal Road.
