Loving father to Bijan and Jasmine, and a cherished brother to Parvin, Nasrin, Simin, and Masoud. He was a devoted uncle to Mehrdad, Mana, Tina, Arta, Shervin, and Tatiana. He is predeceased by his parents, Saadat and Ali Akbar.
Mehdi was a man of many talents and passions. He was an excellent cook, skilled handyman, and enthusiast of stained glass art. He had a keen eye for fine antiques and was known for his sharp wit, generous nature, and exceptional backgammon skills. Mehdi's humor and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, both near and far.
Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home – Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, on Monday, May 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
