It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michele, surrounded by his family at the Juravinski Hospital on July 6, 2015 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Elvira (nee Cappelloni) for 60 years. Devoted father of Morris and Lisa, Tony and Diane, and Sandro. Cherished Nonno of Michael (Maria) and Jason (Tori). Dear brother of Lucia and predeceased by siblings Pasqualina, Leonardo, Francesco, Donato, Carmina and Filippo. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada, Italy and the USA. Special thanks to all of the caring professionals who attended to Michele during his illness. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church (Parkdale and Queenston) on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
