It's now 2024 & I still miss you like it was yesterday. Things are changing in my life. I took your advice & moving into my next chapter of my life soon. I will try to keep posting so that there is a history for those down the road. Until next time.

It has been one year today since you passed away and I was by your side to say goodbye. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and wipe the tears from my eyes. I love and miss you dad. Today I light a candle for you to show that I am thinking of you always.

It's a year ago today, Tata that I sang to you Bosna Moja, cried and held you as I watched you close you eyes. I will never forget the last hours I spent with you and as hard as it was, I will cherish those moments forever. They say time heals all, but they are wrong. I lost a piece of my heart that night. I will always love you and keep you close.

Hey Ta,every single second of my waking hours, you are on my mind. Wondering where you may roam, are you at peace and do you feel my pain. I miss you so. They say time heals, if so when does that happen.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

I will always cherish you, love you and keep you in my heart forever. We have gone through alot you and I, and I cherish each day that we had together. I will never forget the day we were at the hospital and you had to stop and buy a gold watch. As sick as you were, the shine of that watch was something you had to have. I bought it for you and you were so happy to wear it home. Miss you Tata

I did not know Mijo long but could tell he was a strong man and very much loved by his family.You are all in my thoughts and prayers.It can be so hard to face the years without your loved one,but the love of family and friends can carry you through.
