Mike "Bucky" Whetstone

It’s with sadness that the family of Michael Whetstone of Lynden and formerly of Dundas announce his passing. He died at home as per his wish from Cancer. His loving and devoted wife Marilyn (nee Belling) looked after him till the end and he was eternally thankful to her for granting this last wish. He is predeceased by his parents Edward and Patricia Whetstone, his in-laws William "Bud" and Rose Belling as well as his adult siblings Edward "Eddie" Whetstone and Sally Pye. Also predeceased his brother and sister in law Bill and Kay Lee.

He leaves behind his loving wife Marilyn, his daughter Pam Mordue (Brad), his granddaughters from Pamela and Brad: Shayla, Kelsey and Emily Rose Mordue and his great-grandchildren from Shayla: Weston, Maya and Nixon Mordue. His son Robert and his grandchildren from Robert: Steven (Jasmine), Kendra(Jamie) and Joe (Nicole) Whetstone. As well as his great-grandchildren from Steven: Leo Whetstone, and from Kendra: Audrey and Maiah. He also leaves behind his siblings Lis, Margo, Eddie’s wife Florence, Mary (Jack) Phyllis (Dave) and Matthew (Leanne). His brother-in-law Gord Belling and many nieces and nephews.

He was Self Employed as an Independent Trucker and Excavator for his entire life.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lynden Legion at 206 Lynden Rd. on December 7th from 2 to 6 PM.
