Il always remember when we were kids you and your sister would come to are house beside Sanford school tell my brother and i to hurry up and come outside and we would either play on the porch or at that one park in front of Pinky Lewis beside Sanford school. And even sometimes we would trade Pokemon cards but you would never finish a trade unless your dad said it was okay to trade the cards lol. You were a cool friend and super chill and il never forget that Natalie.

Dearest Natalie… I am so thankful to have had such a fine, bright, kind and incredible person in my life. There's so much I don't understand about the whys of life. Maybe Natalie was meant to be a bright shooting star in our lives... there for only a short while, but she left a trail so bright… she emanated such astounding power, grace and beauty that she is etched forever more in all of us. She is so NOT gone. She is in my heart, my mind, my soul and woven through the fabric of what makes me who I am, what I value, and how I want to love and treat others. The strength Natalie brought those of us close to her was so great that even her untimely end can't diminish how much good her way of being and supporting us did. Her wisdom will continue to guide us all; to be more comfortable and loving toward ourselves, to have compassion for ourselves and others, and to strive to make a difference. Talk about leading by example, she touched so many in such a short time, she was truly a force to be reckoned with. I would not be in the place of wellness that I am today without her. So here's to Natalie and her fiery, brilliant, wounded, yet so graceful and giving soul. The loss is immense. But so is the learning. Thank you and I'll love and miss you like crazy forever and always Nat... ?

Natalie, I'm so sorry we didn't get to know each other as well as we should have, but just know you were and always will be, in my heart. I love you and miss you. This is the first poem I've written in over ten years. I hope you enjoy it. Always thinking of you, your loving brother, Jason.

Never together yet never away,
Each step I've taken was at your side,
Hand in hand we lived apart,
Though each breath I took was shared with you.

Too much we never had,
An empty vase now filled by tears,
Words of friends overflowing within,
A shimmering reflection of who you were.

And now I feel as though I'm drowning,
Wading here admist this tide,
These waves crashing me against the rocks,
Broken and bruised here I lay.

Drifting now in a sea of memories,
Storms pass as waves go calm,
Rays of hope beam down on us all,
Your love warms us,
carries us,

I heard of this horrible passing from my positive space group. I'm so sorry to hear of your familys loss.

Heartfelt sympathy for the entire Venasse family and to all Natalie's dear friends from SJAM SS.  I shall not forget Natalie's kindness. I hear her voice in my mind when remember her in my class so long ago, her laugh, her smiling face seen all through SJAM, and her friendly, quiet hellos over the years whenever I saw her in the halls. I never heard Natalie utter an unkind word at SJAM.  I am but one of many teachers whom Natalie knew who all feel so very sorry for the loss of such a kind, sensitive student.

To The Venasse Family,

Sincere condolences on the tragic loss of Natalie. It is unbearable pain when you lose a child, I know because we recently buried our son who was a few years older, but also passed sudden and tragically. Allow yourselves to grieve for as long as it takes. This journey is long but Natalie is in a peaceful place watching over you and waiting til the day you too can join her. May she be taken care of by those who have gone before her. I shall pray to my son who was a soldier, to help look after her.

Natalie Venasse, i have to admit you were one of the kindest, smartest, and funniest person I've met. I'm happy we were friends, and even though your gone, and i know you still here with us. Closer than we think. I love you, and miss you lots. R.I.P

I barely knew you & that's not your fault but, mine. I was too shy & choked up to take the chance to hang out with you or anything. I'm sorry, it's too late for us. We talked though & I feel so blessed that I knew you at all, you were so amazing, we need people like you in the world but, the good die young & look, the great die younger. we met your daughter at hospital shortly after our son was there. We were very upset and she comforted us telling us things would get better. We sat and talked and listened to her play the piano. She was a lovely young woman who really touched us and our son with her beautiful spirit. We never forgot her and wanted you to know what an impact she had on a complete stranger. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family for their tragic loss.

My friend who walked with me through hard times, who snuck out late at night to keep each other company, so many memories that i will never loose. The promise we made at angels memorial. You inspired me gave me comfort. I care soo much about her and im never going to loose her in my heart. She always new i liked her and we stayed bestfriends.... No more like sisters. I remember the first time i saw her cry was tears of laughter over double rainbow Oh My God, she wrote it ecery where on my white dresser and ill never forget it. All the memories we had i will never forget, and never forget what u would want me to do. Rest In Peace my natalie.
