KEITH, Patricia Mae (nee Taylor) Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, October 25, 2013, after an extremely long and courageous battle, Pat was taken home to be with the angels at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Gerald (Ger) for 52 wonderful years. Cherished mother of Scott (Roberta) and Karen (Bill), and treasured grandma of Alyssa, Jeremy and Chloe who were her greatest pride and joy. Dear sister of Doug Taylor (Pat), favourite sister-in-law to Jack Keith (Marilyn), and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jean and Walter Taylor, brother Larry Taylor (Colleen), sister Mavis Larmond, and sisters-in-law Pearl Jones (Ken) and June Gray (Ed). Pat will be sadly missed by cousin Eleanor Coleman (Don), lifelong friend Fran Cathcart, and many other friends and neighbours. Pat was a beautiful person who touched so many lives. Always a smile upon her face and kind words from her mouth, she had a way of making everyone feel special. Everyone that met her loved her. She was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Family was important to Pat, especially spending time with her grandchildren who always brightened her life. She loved the simple things such as sitting on her back porch drinking a cup of tea, time spent in her garden and Christmas with family and friends. Pat was a proud and long time member of Pioneer Memorial United Church and choir for over 40 years. The family would like to thank Reverend Bonnie Holliday, Dr. J. Zazulak, Dr. D. Arlen, Dr. E. Carlisle, Janet Feener (PCN Dialysis) and all the nurses and techs at St. Joseph's King Street Campus, and all of the doctors and nurses of the General Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and compassion. Specials thanks to friend and RACE R.N Chris Hathaway.
