McKENNA, Patrick Joseph It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick, peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on April 23, 2014, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Patricia for 50 years. Devoted father to Shaun (Liesbeth), Karen (Gary), Gregory and Diane (Eric). Cherished "Poppa" of Meghan, Kaitlyn, Logan, Ethan, Liam and Abigail. Predeceased by his brothers James, Emmett, Michael, Stephen and Ivan. Survived by his siblings Martina, John, Beatrice, Jean and Earl. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Patrick was born and raised in Orwell Cove, Prince Edward Island. He was a graduate of St. Dunsten's University and the owner of Glenlea Homes for over 40 years. Remembered for his clever wit and handyman skills, Patrick enjoyed playing golf, watching sports and most of all, spending time with his family. Resting at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Annunciation of Our Lord Church, 280 Limeridge Road West, Hamilton, on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
