Peter Olyschlager

At the Henderson Hospital on Thursday May 1, 2008 in his 88th year. Cherished husband of Wendy . Predeceased by his wife Irene Elizabeth (1980) and his wife Irene (1992). Loving father of Helga Rausch (Thomas), Peter (Willi), Alice Reid (Robert, predeceased), Gerhard (Sharon), Wolfgang (Marilyn) and Dorothy Garcia (Lui). Cherished and loved Opa of 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Helmut (Erika), and predeceased by brothers Arnold (1941) and Hans (2007). Peter was a master cabinet maker and general contractor. He was a member and past vice president of the Hamilton Senior Council, a member and past vice president of the German Canadian Benevolent Society, and elected official and past treasurer of the United Seniors of Ontario, Zone 14. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Monday May 5, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
