Phil was truly a great guy.  He was my go-to guy growing up.  His stories and jokes always kept me laughing. He would say "I don't have a whole lot of money but I am rich when it comes to friends". Thanks to all of his family, friends and the neighbours who kept an eye out for him and cared.  I will always miss his warm hugs, his humour and especially his cinnamon rolls and biscuits.  My condolences to all his family and friends.

My thoughts,love and prayers are with you. Phil was 13 years old when I was born. He truly was my "Big Brother" then and remained steadfast for the rest of his life. I loved him with all my heart!  He was always available when ever I needed him.  Like everyone, I will miss his many frequent phone calls. He always had a story and could always make me laugh..We have all been blessed to have been part of his life. He brought something very special to each and everyone who knew & loved  him! He was such a unique character! He will truly be missed. My heart is sad! I will see you all soon.

Phil was an amazing person. My husband and I were lucky enough to purchase our first home across the street from Phil. You could always count on him to give you a wave on your way to work and be on the porch at the end of day. I enjoyed my many conversations with him that usually ended up with me going home with baked goods. His kind soul and morning waves will be greatly missed.

Your dad was such a great guy and we are so sorry for your loss.  Phil had a great sense of humor and was always so happy and full of life.
