HORST, Pieter August 20, 1926 (The Hague, The Netherlands) – November 2, 2013(Hamilton, Ontario) With his wife and children surrounding him, Pieter Horst passed from this world into the everlasting presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at 6:20 pm on Saturday November 2, 2013. He will be missed by his loving wife, Anna, his six children; Ellie Valk (John), Fred Horst (Diana), Karin Havinga (Len), Marnie Kranenburg (Henry), Anita VanderVeer (Jack), Judy Bastian (Matthew); his brother Folkert Horst (Nienke), 24 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. An opportunity to visit with the family will be available on Tuesday evening (November 5, 2013) 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the common hall of Wellingstone Christian Home at 261 Stone Church Road E. (Please use Stone Church Road entrance). A celebration of Pieter’s life will be held at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church (61 Mohawk Road W, Hamilton) at 11:00 am on Wednesday November 6, 2013.
