Renato Belli

Born April 14, 1928. With loving wife Pina by his side, Renato peacefully said goodnight one last time on February 15, 2013. Survived by Pina, his wife of 54 years, Renato was blessed with two loving children, Danny (Gina) and Sandra (Scott) and will always be the loving Nonno to granddaughters Josey (Rob) and Lucy. Also survived by brother Aldo Belli (predeceased Rina), nephews Alipio (Lucy), Ron (Kathy), Julio Fiorelli (Lina) as well as extended family and dear friends from his country of origin, Italy. Following his arrival to Canada in 1951, Renato tirelessly worked in various jobs before joining the Corsini's Supermarket family in the James Street neighborhood. He will fondly be remembered for his infectious laughter, vibrant personality and generosity towards all. Heartfelt thanks to staff at the Village of Wentworth Heights and in particular to Renato's extended family in the Stonechurch home area whose loving care will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave. E.). Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Cresmount Chapel. Interment to follow service. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton.
