Robert George Ellis

ELLIS: Robert George; Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, on Saturday April 9th 2022 at the age of 71. Beloved father of Daniel Ellis and spouse Christine and Samuel Ellis and spouse Mary. Treasured grandfather of Korey Patzalek, Ronnie Boukal, Caleb De Jong, Adrian De Jong. Dear brother of Deanna Ellis/Rattman and Bonnie Lamb/Hoover. Robert will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. He was an avid member of several groups in Hamilton that helped out our community. It made him proud to lead people on a safe path through poverty and mental health struggles to an overall better life. He will be remembered for the love and generosity he showed to everyone around him, even in his own hardest time. Robert was proud of both his sons and all of their achievements. Visitation will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King St E. Hamilton, (at the Delta) on Saturday April 30 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to celebrate Robert’s life to follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
