Robert James Pay

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Nancy Davidson-Pay of 14 years. Cherished step-dad to Dan (Cicely), Ken and Cheryl (Tom). Adored grandfather to Justine, Jacob, Kaleb, Stuart, T.J, Jenna and great-grandfather to Troy, Arya and Hailey. He will be missed by his siblings Helen, George, Fred and Linda. Robert loved life, his family and will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour. He also had a special place in his heart for his dog Bear and his grand-dog Buddy. Robert will be missed by his cribbage and card playing buddies as well as friends and neighbours.

Robert had a strong faith and it brings us comfort knowing that he is no longer suffering and has been welcomed into heaven with open arms. Specials thanks to the staff at Brantford General Hospital (Palliative Care) as well as the healthcare professionals and doctors for their continued care and support, who worked with him from home. All guest must wear a mask upon entry into the funeral home and practice social distancing. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1pm-3pm. Celebration of Life Service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 3pm.
