Loving husband and soul mate to Irene for 58 years. Dearly loved father to Darlene and Kim (Gabe). Proud Papa to Anthony, Cody (Annie), Jordan, Taylor (Will), Katie and Connor (Erica). Beloved brother to Nancy (Larry deceased) and Jim (Opal). Loving brother-in-law to Shirley (Marc) and Linda (Greg). Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Merle & Vera. Will be sadly missed by his lifelong friends Barry, Paul, Fred, Henry, and Bobby who throughout his illness, kept in touch and visited on a regular basis.

Ron was always singing along to his favourite, Elvis Presley and always knew how to have a good time. Ron’s quick wit and sense of humor continued right up until the end. He loved all things sports and participated in everything from football to baseball and hockey. His favourite teams were Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees and New York Rangers.

Thank you to all the caring nurses and PSWs from VON, CBI and Bayshore who helped care for him at home and especially to Juliana, Becky and Linda for their extra support.

Visitation will take place on at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Monday February 28th from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Due to current gathering restrictions, a private funeral will be held on Tuesday March 1st for close family and friends.
